Introducing the Trempendix™ Prime!
An evolution of the Omega, we set out to further refine the Trempendix line. We wanted to keep the negative cut for the leg, but we wanted to make more room for the knuckles when gripping the gun. While we were there, we wanted to make sure that no matter where the DCC Mod4 Shorty clip was set, nothing could get hooked under the belt and prevent rotation.
The answer that solved both of those is our newly built-in Gullwing. We opted to add a raised portion to mimic a traditional wing, but we extended it all the way to the bucket top. This prevents it from ever going under the beltline. We bend that wing so that it tracks along the trigger guard, giving complete access to a full grip.
The removal of the Nylon washer put the tension adjuster back in a more traditional location, so we designed the Wigglyjig MK2 to continue to offer a tie-off point for Fanny Pack and Kitbag carry. The DCC Mod 4 Shorty clip is still present allowing 12 degrees of dynamic rotation while you are wearing it. You don't "set it and forget it." It moves with you. The Dog-nose wedge is still removable as well.
The Entire Trempendix line was designed around body types that found appendix carry holsters too large. It's Dwarven size to accommodate folks with less vertical space around their beltline. Many Appendix carriers ignore this aspect and just say, "Doesn't bother me, so it doesn't exist," in an effort to negate the concerns of folks who don't share their height requirements. We set about working on the problem instead of pretending it doesn't exist. Along the way, normal height folks discovered that the Trempendix works awesome for them as well.
