Product Overview
Cover Clinics are a series workshops covering the use of different types of terrain as cover, concealment, and barricades. We will use various tools to explore different topics at each clinic. Clinic topics will include Individual Cover Techniques, Spatial Awareness, Proprioception, 3 Dimensional Angle Variables, Asymmetrical Movement, Timing Etc. Topics will be rotated at each clinic, and multiple variables will be introduced so even clinics with the same topic won't be the same experience.
The cost will vary based on which consumables are being used for each clinic. We will attempt to use the most frugal tools at our disposal. When we run Diagnostic Cover Clinics, we will be using various Force on Force tools. If you have your own Airsoft gear, you are free to use it as long as it can shoot semi-auto only, below 350FPS. When using UTM, we have loaners available. ASTM-F1776 masks are required; we have some loaners.
Prerequisite: any 2-day Carbine or Rifle class.
Gear List (typical):
An open mind
Note-taking materials
A Magazine fed Carbine
Weapon Light (optional, but preferred)
Load Carriage of your choice.
Eye/Ear Protection
Knee pads/Elbow pads (optional)
Weather appropriate clothing
Gun lube of choice, cleaning gear
A roll of tan masking tape
Stapler and staples
Diagnostic Clinics:
Sturdy clothing that covers exposed skin
An ASTM 1776 - F1776 rated mask. (Some loaners available)
An AR-style rifle to be temporarily adapted for UTM (as needed) or
An Airsoft Rifle to simulate your Carbine (Must shoot under 350FPS)
EDC gear to include:
A strong side holster (Glock or M&P) (Some loaners available)
Sturdy gun belt
Flashlight
