We lost John early this year. He is dearly missed.
Back at the beginning of Wolverine Warfare, John had signed up without even reading the description of the class and he says " This better not be one of those walking classes."
It was. Probably on the longer end of the spectrum. John ran the whole class in jeans and carried 2 rifles. Didnt complain once and was the only fella in the class at the end who wasnt completely exhausted.
We decided a fine way to honor him was to head back out to that AO and take a hike in the woods. "One of those walking classes" indeed.
We're gonna hike from Centralia to Mt. Carmel. A bunch of us are gonna camp at the Calumet Range and enjoy some Campfire and Cocktails in the evening. As long as you can make the walk, you are welcome.
