The Red Zone is where the decisions you make will be paid for in blood. Yours, the bad guys or some innocent who was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Rule 4: Always be aware of your target and what's beyond it. We promise you will never look at your targets the same way after this class. Rule 4 is what we make real in The Red Zone. You own every round, even if it over-penetrates and God help you if you miss the bad guy. Could you live with yourself after hitting a child? A pregnant woman? A family member? Targets are in-depth, meaning your backgrounds are not a berm, they could be no-shoots.
Prerequisites: This is not a beginner course. Students must be able to safely draw their weapon, execute reloads and be able to deal with malfunctions in a non-diagnostic manner. Not being a snob or trying to be high speed, but this class deals with other issues. Gear List: You can bring what you carry, but I suggest a 9, 40 or 45 with at least a 10 round capacity. You will need additional magazines, 3 or 4 will make the class more fun, You will need a decent holster (one that you can re-holster without using two hands or looking at) . You will need a decent belt. You can email me for recommendations.
You will need at least 500 rounds of ammo. Depending on the level of the students and the way the class is going you may not expend all 500 rds. We will be using sims guns for some drills. Unless you are a Police Officer training in uniform, all drills will be done from concealment.
